VINTAGE 90S ANIME AESTHETIC OUTFITS, OUR WAY
THE LOOK WE KEEP COMING BACK TO
Hey love. Some outfits don't chase a trend, they come from a closet that remembers. That's exactly the appeal of a vintage 90s anime aesthetic outfit: faded denim, a longsleeve that's been through a few winters, a hoodie with more print than shape.
We built this ICHIGOODESIGN edit with that closet in mind. Nothing new-looking, nothing stiff. Just prints carrying a little bit of story, the kind of pieces you reach for first, not last.
Think slouchy knits over slip dresses, wide denim under cropped jackets, color stories that lean warm and a little sun-bleached. It's the decade that gave us oversized fits and emotional graphic tees, and it still looks right today.
FADED, WORN RIGHT
Denim That's Already Lived
The Justice Jeans are heavy washed black denim with a printed patchwork, and they hang the way old 90s denim did. Keep everything else quiet around them: a tucked tee, worn-in sneakers, nothing competing for attention.
Nothing about them looks fresh off a shelf.

More of this feeling lives in our bottoms edit.
LONGSLEEVES THAT REMEMBER WHERE THEY CAME FROM
A Raw Hem Says Enough
The Memories Longsleeves has a raw edge hem built for layering under an open flannel, a bigger jacket, or nothing at all on a warmer day. It reads like it was already yours before you bought it.
Pair it with the Justice Jeans and let the sleeves bunch at the wrist, or tie it at the waist over a plain tee for warmer days.
PRINT OVER SILHOUETTE
Let the Graphic Lead
The Remember Leo Hoodie keeps the silhouette simple, so the print does the talking instead of the cut. Push the sleeves up and let whatever's underneath peek out at the neckline.
It layers just as easily over the Memories Longsleeves or a plain tee, so the print stays the focus whatever's underneath.
JERSEYS THAT NEVER SAW A GAME
Borrowed From Nobody's Team
The Smoking Black Jersey looks like something you'd pull from the back of a thrift rack. Wear it with shorts in warm weather, or over a longsleeve when it's not. No team, no league, just the shape of one.
It's the kind of piece that looks better a size up, worn with loose shorts or straight-leg denim and nothing else fighting for space.
THE QUIET PIECES
The Collar Does the Work
The Outro Polo Shirt does the same job in a quieter register: collared, easy to tuck half in and leave half out. It's the piece that makes the rest of the fit look intentional instead of thrown together.
Wear it buttoned all the way for something closer to uniform dressing, or open over a tank for something looser.
Boxy By Name
The Symmetry Boxy Tee leans all the way into its name. Wear it loose over the Justice Jeans or knotted at the waist, closer to something you'd dig out of an actual nineties thrift bin than something bought last week.
LAYERED FOR COLDER DAYS
When the temperature drops, the 7777 Cardigan goes over almost everything on this list: the Memories Longsleeves, the Smoking Black Jersey, even the Outro Polo Shirt buttoned underneath. It's an easy way to carry the same faded, lived-in feeling into layering season without starting a whole new outfit from scratch. Throw it over your shoulders and leave it open, or wear it the way you'd wear an old flannel, half-committed and a little oversized.
A FEW QUICK QUESTIONS
What makes an outfit feel 90s anime inspired?
Faded tones, oversized layers, and graphic pieces that read more emotional than loud. Let things look a little worn.
Can I mix pieces from different parts of the edit?
Always. The jeans, the longsleeves, the hoodie and the cardigan all work together, so layer whatever feels right for the weather.
MADE ONCE YOU ORDER IT
Every piece here is made once you order it. It can take anywhere from 3 to 9 days, but it's worth the wait, and it means nothing you're wearing came off a mass rack.
The tees are printed DTG with water-based ink that soaks into the fabric. Heavier pieces like the hoodie are DTF, heat-pressed so the print holds up the same way the rest of the piece does.
Wash cold, inside out, hang dry, and skip the fabric softener if you want the print to last.
See the rest of the pieces in our new arrivals, and wear it worn-in from day one.
